HTT was honoured to welcome Mr. Liang Kwun Fan, Principal, and Dr. Chan Kwan-mui, Vice Principal of ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School (LSS) to HTT’s headquarters for a productive visit and in-depth dialogue on technology-driven education
During the visit, the distinguished guests toured HTT’s technology showcase, exploring cutting-edge developments in LED drivers, DC-DC solutions, automotive electronics (car music, car cameras, car lamps), and broader semiconductor innovations. A particular highlight was the demonstration of HTT’s advanced robot dog, which captured the visitors’ keen interest.
Mr. Liang Kwun Fan, Principal, was visibly impressed by the robot dog’s capabilities. As seen in the photo, he personally held and interacted with the robotic unit, expressing genuine excitement about its potential applications in an educational setting. The discussion naturally evolved into practical ways to integrate such robotics technology into ICT (Information and Communications Technology) classes at LSS. Ideas explored included using the robot dog to teach coding, sensor integration, autonomous decision-making, and hands-on robotics programming—bridging classroom theory with real-world AI and engineering applications.
Beyond robotics, the two parties engaged in constructive conversations around AI integration in school curricula, smart campus development, and fostering student innovation through real-world tech exposure. With HTT’s deep expertise in the AI-semiconductor industry and LSS’s commitment to holistic, forward-looking education, both sides explored potential collaboration areas including joint STEM workshops, professional sharing sessions, and mentorship opportunities for students interested in technology and entrepreneurship.
Principal Liang and Dr. Chan deeply appreciated HTT’s technological depth. Principal Liang noted how exposure to industry-grade innovations like the robot dog could significantly enhance student engagement and prepare learners for future technology careers. Dr. Chan shared insights on curriculum design and how partnerships with tech enterprises can enrich learning outcomes.
HTT sincerely thanks ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School for the visit and looks forward to exploring continued collaboration to support ICT education innovation, student development, and the cultivation of future-ready leaders with creativity, resilience, and a strong sense of community responsibility.
