A student-teacher team from Alliance Primary School, Sheung Shui stood out in the “AI Chip Robot Dog Dancing Competition” at the “1st Inter-School Primary and Secondary School AI Chip Robot Dog Summer Camp,” claiming the championship! Exploring the Power of Technology and Teamwork
Over the five-day summer camp, students experienced the entire process firsthand—from assembling parts from scratch, connecting wires, and inputting programming codes, to controlling the robot dog. As the principal shared in her column, far more precious than any award are the valuable growth experiences children gained along the way: facing failure, making repeated corrections, encouraging one another, and practicing teamwork. A tiny AI chip not only gave the robot dog flexible movements and a “brain,” but also ignited the students’ curiosity for artificial intelligence and mechanical engineering.
