On 24 August 2026, students from HTT’s AI–Semiconductor–Robotics Summer Camp visited Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP) for a day of technological discovery and learning.
Building on their summer camp experience, the visit allowed students to connect their earlier learning with technology demonstrations and real-world innovation settings.
Technology in Action at HKSTP
Students took part in activities at different locations across Hong Kong Science Park:
HKSTP Tour
- Learned about HKSTP, including its role in supporting innovation and technology in Hong Kong.
- Visited the “Golden Egg”, learned about Sir Charles K. Kao and took group photographs.
- Explored the Experience Centre, where videos and interactive exhibits showcased the latest achievements of HKSTP’s innovation community.
HTT Production Clean Room
- Experienced the clean-room environment, learning why cleanliness and precision are important in chip production.
- Explored the main production stages, from manufacturing and testing to final packaging.
- Viewed production equipment, gaining a closer look at how it supports different stages of the process.
HTT Office & Laboratory
- Gained an overview of HTT, the chip industry and related career opportunities.
- Learned basic circuit concepts, including how circuit boards and chips are designed.
- Explored the lab, experiencing demonstrations of the small and large robot dogs and HTT’s chip technologies.
A Celebration of Achievement
Following the scheduled activities, all groups reconvened at Wake Up in Hong Kong Science Park for lunch and a celebration of student participation and achievement.
Awards were announced across four categories, recognising the technical skills, creativity and understanding demonstrated throughout the summer camp.

- Fourth Place: Xiong Quansen – CCC Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay)
Individual certificates were presented to students in recognition of their participation, commitment and achievements throughout the summer camp. HTT also presented certificates to teachers in appreciation of their contribution to the learning experience.
Inspiring the Journey Ahead
The Science Park visit marked a meaningful conclusion to the summer camp and provided students with greater insight into Hong Kong’s technology and innovation landscape. HTT hopes the experience will deepen their interest in technology and inspire their future learning and endeavours.
