HTT is pleased to share that Dr. David Ng, Chief Executive Officer of HTT, held a productive meeting on 17 June 2026 with Prof. Mansun Chan (陳文新教授) , Chair Professor of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at HKUST, and Dr. Wong Ching Man, Principal of CCC Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay) (中華基督教會基灣小學（愛蝶灣）) , to discuss the future of semiconductor education at both primary and secondary levels.
The meeting brought together three distinguished leaders from academia, industry, and school administration, each committed to advancing technology education for young learners in Hong Kong.
Prof. Mansun Chan is a world-renowned scholar in the field of microelectronics. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, is a Fellow of the IEEE, and serves as an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer. His extensive research in semiconductor devices and technology has made significant contributions to the field, and his insights into how advanced semiconductor concepts can be made accessible to younger students were invaluable to the discussion.
Dr. Wong Ching Man, Principal of CCC Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay) , brought a grounded perspective on curriculum integration, sharing practical considerations for introducing AI, semiconductor, and robotics topics into primary school classrooms. Her dedication to nurturing young minds with future-ready skills was evident throughout the conversation.
